Below you’ll find a list of circus centric jams, meet ups, studios, training facilities and shops based in the Phoenix, AZ valley. I’ve created this list so it’s easy to find your peeps whether it be hoop, circus, fire, aerial and/or juggling. I get a lot of questions about events in the area! My hope is this list gives you the information and resources to connect with others.

Jams and Skill Shares

Aerial and Spin Open Gym at District 8 

Every Monday and Wednesday nights an open gym is hosted in the underground warehouse of District 8 in Central Phoenix. Available to anyone who wants to train their body and build new skills. $10 suggested donation per person. Jams are from 6:30-9:30pm. More information, click here

AcroYoga Open Play

Acrobody is place to be if you’re an acroyoga lover living in the Phoenix Valley. They host weekly, all level, donation based play time in their studio. Suggested donation is $3/hour. Play time is from 2:45-6pm. More information, click here

Fire Temple Tuesdays

If you’re looking for a weekly donation based workshop and fire jam, look no further. This group hosts a variety of workshops on Flow Arts, Dance, Yoga, Meditation, Sound Healing, Art, Fire Breathing and more. Event is on Tuesdays from 6-11pm. Location is given day of and events are usually privately listed. If you want to know the DL please message me.

Free Weekly Yoga, Meditation, Slacklining and MORE!

A weekly event held at Papago park on Thursday nights. There’s a group yoga and meditation followed by a flow jam of hoopers, poi spinners, jugglers, slack-liners and more! It’s a great place to connect with like minded people. This event is held from 7-10pm. More information, click here

North Valley Phoenix Flow Jam & AcroYoga

This jam is was created specifically for those in the North Valley, but all are welcome! Flow artists, slackers, circus craving, aerial and acro loving yogi’s gather to share skills, knowledge and fun on a weekly basis. Jams are on Sundays, 1-4pm. More information, click here

Hoop Open Play 

Weekly Donation-based open play for hula hoopers hosted by Acrobody. This all levels jam with the intention of creating a consistent, supportive environment for people to learn, grown and find their flow together. Play time is on Saturdays from 10am-12pm. More information, click here

Open Air Jam  

3 Queens Circus hosts Friday flyday at their downtown studio from 7:30-10pm. Mingle with other aerialist while working out on any apparatus. Are you a newbie? They ask to come to a class before attending air jam for safety reasons. More information, click here

Phoenix Acro Yoga Connection

The Acro Yoga community is active and inclusive. Whether you are brand new to Acro Yoga, or more experienced, you will find many people to connect with and plenty of opportunities to deepen your practice. More information, click here

Phoenix Flow Connection

Local hoopers, Pam Mayer and Amanda Lavender Moon, started a facebook group dedicated to all things flow. This Facebook group has posts on classes, workshops, community jams and events. It’s a great place to stay in the know. More information, click here


Their mission is bring communities together for the sake of peace, love and unity through dance, self expression, activism and education.. This group of flow artists are taking their feet to the streets by using their dance to make waves for social and political change. More information, click here

Second Friday’s at The Circus Farm

Local entertainment company who holds circus jams every second Friday of the month. Bring your fire, flow toys and yoga mats! This is a family friendly event. Aerial Lyra and Silks also available. No alcohol or drugs allowed. Every Second Friday, 7pm-12am. More information, click here

Sunday Tempe Flow Jam

Flomies meet up every Sunday at Tempe Beach Park for spinning, juggling, slacking, music, and anything skill related! Times depend on the season. More information, click here



Group Class Highlights


Fire, Side Show and Stilt Walking with House of Cirque

Performer and instructor, Crystal Cruz, holds weekly stilt walking classes at Core Cross Fit in downtown Phoenix. Her and her husband also make and sell wooden stilts locally. House of Cirque was voted “Best of the Valley” 2015 in Phoenix Magazine. Crystal also holds fire eating, breathing and dancing classes. More information, click here

AcroDance with Acroventure

4 week series every Monday starting on January 8th from 8:30-9:35pm at Acrobody. Acro dance fuses acrobatics and dance by focusing on standing dance lifts, adagio and flowing movement. More information, click here



Aero Terra Arts

Belly dance, fire, aerial, swing dancing and acrobatics! This company has it all. Located at Core Cross Fit in downtown Phoenix. This church turn fitness venue has all the classes you could want to take with top instructors. More information, click here

Prowess Pole Fitness

Unleash your inner vixen by taking an acrobatic pole class. It’s not only a way to feel more sexy, but to build strength and grace. They also offer flexibility and beginner aerial classes. More information, click here

Studio VaVaVoom

Veteran entertainer, Lucy Morals, trains newbies, beginners and her own burlesque troupe out of Studio VaVaVoom located in Tempe, AZ. They were voted “Best of the Valley” 2016 in Phoenix Magazine. More information, click here

Three Queens Circus

These queens rein high on their thrones of all things aerial. They teach rope, silks, trapeze and lyra in downtown Phoenix with each instructor bringing their own creativity and flair to the practice. More information, click here.

Vertical Fix

Tempe based studio for all things aerial. Lyra, trapeze and silks OH MY! They even have flexibility classes at 10am on Saturdays where you go deeper than any yoga class and end up sore for days. More information, click here

Walk In Wellness

This is not your average wellness center. Walk in Wellness is a facility that hosts a variety of holistic services and weekly classes. Classes range from hip hop, yoga to acroyoga and handstands. More information, click here
